A lightweight, browser-based reception portal built in React replaces the paper logbook. Staff can log incoming and outgoing couriers in seconds, with automatic date and time stamping to avoid manual errors. Visitors can self-check in on a tablet or laptop by entering their name, company, purpose of visit, and host. Check-out is recorded with a single tap. All entries are displayed in a live records view with filters, current visitor count, and a summary of today’s activity. The interface follows the organization’s brand with a dark glassmorphism style and iOS-inspired components. The next step is to connect the app to Google Sheets using Apps Script, enabling a permanent and exportable data store without the need for backend infrastructure.
