Why it exists
Dashboard backgrounds and KPI icons were built manually in PowerPoint, creating significant inefficiencies: each dashboard took 1–2 hours of design work, outputs were inconsistent across teams, files were not in SVG format so they didn't scale cleanly, and there was a heavy dependency on designers even for basic visuals. This resulted in lost time, variable quality, and slower delivery across all reporting projects.

Built an app that auto-generates dashboard backgrounds and KPI icons in SVG format using Google Gemini's API for intelligent visual generation via prompt engineering. The initial version was prototyped manually in PowerPoint to validate the concept, then fully rebuilt on Replit with a React + Vite frontend, Express backend, and PostgreSQL database — delivering a production-grade, shareable web app. The solution takes structured inputs and produces clean, scalable, presentation-ready visuals in minutes, fully compatible with BI tools and consistent across every dashboard.

Output was inconsistent from person to person and poorly suited for BI tools. After implementation, the same output is produced in 5–10 minutes with minimal effort. All visuals are generated in SVG format — always crisp, always scalable, and fully compatible with BI tools straight out of the app. Visual standards are now consistent across every dashboard automatically, designer dependency for baseline visuals has been eliminated, and rework is rare.
